Organization: Kappa Delta Phi NAS

Kappa Delta Phi NAS(ΚΔΦ NAS) is a national affiliated sorority founded on May 7, 1971, at Husson College in Bangor, ME. Their colors are black and gold, and their mascot is the crow. Their motto is "May the spirit never die."


Q: What was your preliminary opinion going into college about Greek Life? Did you intend to join a sorority?

A: I never intended on joining a sorority in college.

Q: What made you go through sorority recruitment?

A: Suggestion of friends

Q: Why did you choose the organization that you did?

A: I felt the most at home!

Q:What was your bid day like?

A: I was a COB so I wasn't at bid day. [Editor's Note: COB stands for Continuous Open Bidding which, defined by TheSororityLife.com, is "An opportunity for chapters that do not reach quota during primary recruitment to bid to total and/or quota. The continuous open bidding process is less formal, and not all chapters will participate in continuous open bidding."

Q: What are the most important things that being a member of your sorority has taught you?

A: What it's like to work together and be a family

Q: What advice would you give to girls going through recruitment?

A: Keep an open mind
