I have used each one of these programs so I can vouch for each one. They will make a world of difference for you as they did for me.

1. Chegg

This is my holy grail out of all of these. I have the monthly subscription so I can get all the answers to homework that I need whenever I want. You can use it without the subscription ($14.95/month), but are limited. This site is also great for ordering textbooks.

2. Course Hero

I do not have this subscription so I can only use it in a limited way, but you get three sneak peeks per month so take advantage of that!

3. WordCounter

I personally use this website because I work from a Google Chromebook. The Google Doc app does not have a word count feature, so I had to look elsewhere. This site also shows you things such as the reading level, how long it would take to read and how long it would take to speak aloud in case you needed to know for a speech.

4. Wolfram Alpha

This program specializes in math. It gives you step by step instructions towards the answer.

5. Quizlet

Quizlet is an online flashcard simulation. It is made by other users who have taken the same classes as you. It's great for studying!

6. StudyBlue

This site is the same concept as Quizlet. Sometimes one will have the answers you need that the other may not.

7. YouTube

YouTube can be thought of as just watching funny videos. makeup tutorials or vlogs, however, it also is a great resource for studying. There are real-life teachers that make channels to talk you through concepts.

Don't let the stress of school overwhelm you! Use the great technology we have been gifted with to help you succeed.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.

Mistakes are something we all make, no matter how old we get. Most of the time, the mistakes we made are little and sometimes due to something out of our control. Yet, there are mistakes that are bigger than others. Personally, I have mistakes that I wish I could go back and undo. Here they are:

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?
