Procrastination

Just roll with it.

Procrastination

Its only the first week of the new semester and here at Lander we are starting it off right. Classes cancelled today due to the weather! So in the spirit of the new semester I have decided to write this week about procrastination. More accurately I have decided to help you procrastinate.

-said every college student ever.

Okay, so you know how 9 times out of 10 you spend most of your time on YouTube or some social media, oh and don't bother hiding it either because you are simply lying to yourself. So below I have included a list of YouTube videos that need to be check out when you are dodging responsibility.

*^*this is my favorite!!!!

So if you click on her videos, you literally waste 3 hours of your life but it's a funny 3 hours so just roll with it.

Well there went the YouTube part. Other awesome ways to kill time is by going on Facebook because you check your new feed and then you can play candy crush which is way more addicting than it looks. People who still tweet check twitter, and then you got a few that still have the Yik Yak app. Seriously, some of the yaks are well thought out on there so shout out to the people that make our day with whatever they posted. Instagram is the go-to app for killing time these days, and then of course when you get done checking that you have to begin a whole new series on Netflix and finish it before sundown.

Of course, if you want to procrastinate with style you can actually go out and do something with people, but most of the time we are too lazy to do our work, so we are too lazy to put on pants and be social.

April Ludgate

Everyone who is in college right now, or has ever been, knows the struggle of pulling in the strings at the last second. It seems impossible, and you have to do a LOT of things in order to assure your future for the next semester.

April Ludgate, historically, is a very annoyed person, and she doesn't hide it. Of all the times that I binged and re-binged "Parks and Rec," her attitude relates more and more to me.

To The Cheerful Person On Their Rainy Days, You Are Valid

The world is not always sunshine and rainbows, and you do not have to be, either.

Ask friends of mine to name a quality about me, and one a lot them will point out the fact that I am almost always smiling. I like to laugh and smile -- not to quote Buddy the Elf in April, but smiling is my favorite! It is probably my favorite go-to expression. However, what a lot of people do not see is that I have my down days. I have days when smiling and laughing is a real struggle, or when I have so much on my plate that going out of my way to behappy takes more effort than I have stored in me. Be it a symptom of college and growing up or a facet of life, I cannot always be content.
