In order to fully grasp my everyday battle, you have to understand how these both contradict one another in the process.

Procrastination is waiting until the very last minute to do anything and everything. You put deadlines off and it puts you under an immense amount of pressure to finish the task before you either forget to do it or just not do it all.

Perfectionism is the art of wanting everything to be perfect. Expecting your best work and making sure that it above and beyond what was asked for.

And you can see how the two would collide.

I wait until the very last minute to do anything and everything and I’m not sure why it is that way. Though when I do wait I am put under intense pressure with heavy time constraints and I am pressured into getting the task done quick and efficiently. The pressure for it to be done perfectly causes me to stress out.

Stress is never good in any situation. Though with all of the stress at hand and with me being so involved in the task I am guaranteed to make it happen in a timely manner and exactly the way that I want it done. Though it is highly not recommended to use this method it actually is beneficial for me because I know that I personally crank out my best work.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
