The problem with today's generation is huge. To be honest, there's too many problems to mention, from the lack of loyalty to not knowing the simplest of grammar. Growing up in my generation, there's been so many days that I've wished I could've grown up 30 years ago.
1. Relationships
Relationships in today's day and age are a whole different story than what they were. So long, are the days of guys asking out a girl in person and picking up her up at 7, and promising her father to have her home by midnight. Now we have boys texting a girl at 11 at night saying, "you up?", only to take her to his house for Netflix instead of going to dinner or a movie. Growing up looking for a relationship in a hookup society is like being a black sheep in a field of white.
2. Grammar
To see the day that 20 year olds will learn the difference between "you're" and "your," "their," "they're," and "there," and "where" and "were" will be the day I can live in happiness. Reading English papers of college students that state things like "She ran their, were me and her met for coffee." makes me want to rip my hair out. Learn to write, please.
3. Manners
If I were to act the way most teens do today, I... well, actually I'd never want to act that way. To have a 14 year old cuss out their parents while wearing clothing most 21 year olds wouldn't even wear, is disgusting. Gone are the days of respect and obedience, knowing when to keep your mouth shut, and listening to your elders. I thank my parents for raising me the way they did, because if I were one of those spoiled kids that get away with whatever they want, I'd probably slap myself.
4. Financial Issues
Since when has it become our parents' or partner's responsibility to buy us everything we want? Since when has it become acceptable to be a young adult and not have a job, or at least try to have one? To make matters worse, so many of those in this generation think they're high and mighty because of mom and dad's money, even going out of their way to brag and make fun of those with less than them.
5. Judging
So many people in today's age are victims of being judged for everything in their life. Why do they need to be publicly humiliated for what they wear, who they date, or what they say? My mother always told me, "if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all.." Unfortunately, there's so many people that never learned that and feel the need to make themselves feel better by putting others down. One piece of advice: just be nice.
