You are meant to be angry. This is when you heal. This is when you move on. You are meant to be riled up and pushed off a cliff to understand what direction you want to go with your life. People will try to save you from your own healing. People will sugar coat things for you. People will fluff up advice that sounds good in theory, but tends to run thin. You are not meant to know everything. You are not meant to know all the answers. It’s impossible. You will fail a couple of times or maybe a lot. Be open to being wrong. Let yourself be wrong. But this process must happen to be successful.
If you don’t fail, then you fail life by default because then have you even lived?
You know the exact amount that you know right now, in this moment. Do you even understand how much of the world you haven’t experienced yet? Do you understand how much of yourself that you don’t even know yet? You learn something new every single day, do not take it for granted.
Do not listen to people who think they have all the answers. Do things that challenge you about what you think you know. Push yourself because no one else is going to do it for you. Maybe if you get angry enough, you’ll change your life. Maybe if you let yourself be consumed by frustration or disappointment, then you will finally think of yourself and do something that makes yourself happy. You have to think of yourself before anyone else. This isn’t selfish; it’s practical. Figure out who you are. Go deep into your soul. Let yourself do what you’re born to do; grow. Stop comparing yourself to others. People pleasing hides the real you. Grow out of who you used to be. Figure out why you over think or why you let your anxiety bother you so much.
Do not just look for things to only inspire you positively. Look for things that enrage you, because then it inspires a passion inside of you. Be insecure all the time, let your guard down and then believe in yourself. You make yourself happy. You accept yourself. You love yourself. Anything that you do is for you.
The point is to allow yourself these things, to spend your moments healing and growing. This is your story. Your life. Your process. Your book. This is what you’ve come here to do. Don’t you dare waste it away.
