This Thanksgiving there was probably tons of eating, family gathering, and most importantly bonding going on. Fun activities are a must when you are all together, and these are just a few of the things that could have possibly occurred. If you are anything like my family then you probably did these things during your Thanksgiving getaway.

Jams that were played

All I Want For Christmas Is You by Mariah Carey

Can we focus on one holiday at a time…? I still have finals to get through.

Juju On That Beat by Zay hilfigerrr, Zayion McCall

“Grandma, let me teach you this fun, new dance!”

Wobble by V.I.C.

Which soon turned into “gobble baby, gobble baby, gobble baby, gobble.”

Heathens by Twenty-One Pilots

When your mom discovers Twenty-One Pilots and asks you to keep the song on replay.

The Mannequin Challenge

…Be honest, “Black Beatles” was played one too many times in an attempt to get everyone to participate.

A Grinch Monologue

Because I definitely could not find a single thing to wear, even though I got extremely dressed up just to stand in my kitchen.

The Interrogation

The constant game of 20 Questions trying to find out why I am still single and when I might find a boyfriend.

The Complaining

Before, during and after. Wondering when dinner would be ready because I simply refused to eat all day in order to get seconds, who am I kidding, I mean fourths.

Half-way through my meal I ask myself why I didn’t wear my stretchy pants because I have no clue where all my food is going to fit.

And finally when dinner is over and I am asked to help with dishes, but I can’t because I have entered a food coma and can’t move.

The Election

As we exit the election season, the outcome was really something to talk about. The election was probably the most common topic brought up at the table this Thanksgiving.

One of the most dreaded places on campus is the library. Nothing awesome ever happens here. Usually, the only reason you're here is because you've procrastinated so long that the library is the only place you'll actually get stuff done. It gives you this feeling of sadness and impending doom. You have no idea how this is going to go or how long you'll be here, but you do know it is about to be the most excruciating experiences yet. But it has to get done, so you drag yourself to the lovely library.

With each new year comes new goals.

Deciding on a goal can be hard, unsure of what to change for this new year. A new goal for myself is to be happier and take care of myself more. I am a very driven person; so driven that I commit to a million and ten things.

It is that time of year again. Christmastime. It is one of my favorite seasons for a myriad of reasons. Here are just a few reasons why I love Christmas. This list is in no order of importance.

1. The Christmas decorations

I am that person who will decorate directly after Thanksgiving is over. This year, my roommates and I put the tree up in our apartment before we even left for Thanksgiving break. It is a great stress reliever for me to just sit in my living room and work on the huge amount of work I have before the semester is over.
