The first weekend of October was Pride weekend in Atlanta and as a proud member of the LGBT community, I was definitely in attendance it's always such a wonderful feeling inside to see all the different groups and organizations come together to express love. Which is what pride celebrates, love of all kinds all genders all Races orientations religions and Creed. It was good to see all of them together, mingling together. Myself a lesbian, spent most of the day with my gay male good friend. also it's a place to meet friends, I met up with an old high school buddy as well as a Facebook friend I had never met. It's an all-around Good Feeling Just to be there and to see all the bright colors which I also adore, the entertainment was great they had Nina sky, as well as other local and non local performers. The parade was a blast and extra long ..thought I was going to pass out as I stood there. Got tons of loot that they were throwing off the parade as well as when I was just walking around the Festival. I have included some awesome pics of the festival. If you didn't go you should have and if you did go I hope you enjoyed yourself!! Happy pride!! #lovewins

And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.

I'm an anthropology major, and I love every minute of it. I couldn't tell you why, but I guess there's just something about studying different lifestyles that absolutely fascinates me. But anthropology majors definitely have our weird sides, especially when you go to a school that is filled with mostly Business and Bio majors. But us weirdos definitely have a lot in common, specifically these 16 things.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.
