As we approach the playoffs, the matchups are heating up. Let's take a look at some of this week's top matchups.

Saints at Panthers

These are two teams who are coming off dramatic losses last week, the Saints lost on a blocked extra point that was returned for 2 points and the Panthers lost on a fumble in the last minute. Both teams will be looking to rebound from devastating losses. This should be a shootout as both teams have high powered offenses.

Prediction: Panthers

Ravens at Cowboys

The Cowboys are the hottest team in football, and there is no denying that. I believe that this game will be a perfect example of smash mouth football. It will be interesting to see how the Ravens defense deals with this high power Cowboys offense.

Prediction: Cowboys

Eagles at Seahawks

It is the battle of the birds. Both of these teams are coming off big wins as the Eagles beat the Falcons and the Seahawks beat the Patriots. In recent weeks the Eagles defense has really stepped up of late, and this should be a defensive matchup. As long as the Seahawks have the Legion of Boom their defense will be good.

Prediction: Seahawks

Dear Mom,

You took care of me and my brothers our entire lives and you still continue to! I will not be able to truly grasp all of the hard work that you put into this family until I create my own one day. Here are some examples of those times where you had my back and I forgot to pat your back for saving me:

College is hard. As people ages 18-22, we’re just trying to figure out what we’re doing with our lives, our careers, our eating habits, exercise routines, sleep patterns, and other necessities for adult life. We definitely don’t take proper care of ourselves; it’s basically impossible when we have essays, tests and readings due and somehow we’re supposed to eat right, exercise and sleep. We’re doomed to get sick. I have zero experience in science but when I get sick there are certain things I do to make myself better.

Now that it seems “talking” is the new way to date, and will stay that way until another idiotic term is used to describe the people who can’t settle down and just date someone, I feel as if it’s time to go over the unwritten rules of “talking.”

Rule 1. Having feeling without feeling.
