"Is this real life?"

Presidential Race 2016: This Sucks.
GQ

This presidential race has been the brunt of countless jokes. When Donald Trump announced he was running for president the country couldn't actually believe it. I think we were all waiting for him to say, "Gotcha!". That hasn't happened... And Hillary? A lot of people, including me, didn't actually think she would make it this far, honestly. The countless memes, bad lip readings and voice-overs for debates, campaign commercials and speeches are not slowing down. But that is kind of concerning since we are actually getting close to voting one of these two hooligans into office to be in charge of our country. They are both the laughing stock of America, yet in just a short amount of time one of them will be the face of America. I don't actually care about the politics right now, I'm just more concerned on what is going to happen to us when one of these people are elected. So, I decided to get on Facebook and ask around for people's opinions on how they think this race is going. Maybe there is hope for a serious ending...but after getting some responses, it looks like we are all on the same hopeless page for our country. These responses span from male to female, young generation to old and wise. But the interesting part? The responses really don't differ from each other...check it out:

"The lesser of two evils" - Brittney
"So many face palm moments" - Alayna
"I would rather not vote" - Kelsey
"It's never mattered more" - Marisa
"Can we start over now?" - Hailey
"Can we not" - Katie
"Never more important to vote" - Sydney
"It must be a dream" - Beth
"The GOP is now toxic" - Robert
"Is this real life?" - Beth
"Corruption hasn't been more obvious" - Lance
"We're screwed, no matter what" - Ally
"#hungergames2017" - Janelle
"My sister can be president" - Kirk
"Get me out of here" - Mari
"I'd rather vote third party" - Nick
"Like an uncontrollable bowel movement. There's shit everywhere!" - Paul
"Hillary will build that wall" - Bryce
"Divisive, dishonest, damaging, destructive, disturbing" - Anne
“It sucks” - Alec
“How did this happen? How did we get here?” - Quincy
“Can’t wait till its over!” - Shannon
“This joke isn’t funny anymore” - Ryann
“Whoever will do the least” - Kirk
“The world is laughing uncontrollably” - Pat
“I’m so confused” - Allison
“The shitstorm of the Century” - Paul
“0/10 would not reccommend” - Kailey
“God help us all” - Natalie
“Lesser of two evils” - Cade
“So, we picked these two?” -Sutton
“The best of the worst” - Kevin
“F*** no, not Hillary”
“F*** no, not the Don!”
“What is wrong with us…” - Mitch
“This is America’s biggest embarrassment” - Sheila

“There is no right choice” - Tony.

The last quote really stuck with me because he's honestly right. There isn't a right choice with these two running for office. And as it was said multiple times, we are choosing from the lesser of two evils. Is that really what this country needs right now? Hell no. We are already falling apart at the hands of protests, lack of respect for authority, inequality, and poor leadership. The way it's looking right now, we are going to continue into this downward spiral our country is already stuck in. I guess all we can hope for is a pleasant surprise when one of these candidates ends up being elected.

To the rest of the world: I'm sorry America looks so idiotic right now, we hope to improve soon. And to America: what can we do to improve ourselves?

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!

RBF, or resting b*tch face, is a serious condition that many people suffer from worldwide. Suffers are often bombarded with daily questions such as "Are you OK?" and "Why are you so mad?" If you have RBF, you've probably had numerous people tell you to "just smile!"

While this question trend can get annoying, there are a couple of pros to having RBF.
