Debate Round 2

The Unintended 90 Minute Cafeteria Food Fight

Debate Round 2

Roughly two hours before the second Presidential Debate, Donald Trump held a press conference with four women who had accused Bill Clinton of sexual assault. If that wasn't a warning sign from two hours out, the entire second debate between Trump and Clinton made myself question why we even still have these events. Out of the gate Trump came up to bat swinging, quickly brushing off his hot mic comments earlier in the past week that were leaked with him bragging to Billy Bush about grabbing a women's genitals.

With any questions they threw at him about this scandal Trump took huge swings straight at Clinton. Specifically saying if he enters the oval office he will attempt to throw her in jail. Many people watching and on social media thought this was somehow funny. Yes because throwing your political opponent in jail is funny. No. Dictators throw their political opponents in jail. This was nothing less than a discrace.

As the debate moved along it seemed like Clinton gave less time rebutting Trump's lies and tried to do something different. Present the case she had actual common sense and a brain on stage. She presented facts where Trump continued to spew lies. Lies as such saying Hillary Clinton has somehow been involved helping Isis throughout her entire political career. As I watched and sat through this debate one thing stuck out to me. The moderators, and almost none of the audience members asked any questions relating to Climate Change.

When it comes to our environment, policies surrounding our sustainability as a country and planet, Hillary only mentioned Climate Change once as to say she simply believed in it while Trump still thinks it's a hoax perpetrated by China. The internet still seemed to believe overall Hillary won the second debate, not by as much of a margin as a the first but Trump seemed more calm not including the obsessive sniffles. After the debate polls came out immediately the next day showing Hillary leading with 14 point spreads between the both of them head to head.

Hillary Clinton will be the 45th President of the United States. She has the temperament, experience, and at this point in the race she is the only person fit to be commander in Chief. Republicans, Democrats, people with brains know this is going to happen. She took the first debate by storm, tied with Ken Bone in the second debate, and most definitely will win the third. You can love Hillary or hate her, but Donald Trump simply will not win.

I think the hardest thing about going away to college is figuring out how to become an adult. Leaving a household where your parents took care of literally everything (thanks, Mom!) and suddenly becoming your own boss is overwhelming. I feel like I'm doing a pretty good job of being a grown-up, but once in awhile I do something that really makes me feel like I'm #adulting. Twenty-somethings know what I'm talking about.

I went to a small high school, like 120-people-in-my-graduating-class small. It definitely had some good and some bad, and if you also went to a small high school, I’m sure you’ll relate to the things that I went through.

1. If something happens, everyone knows about it

Who hooked up with whom at the party? Yeah, heard about that an hour after it happened. You failed a test? Sorry, saw on Twitter last period. Facebook fight or, God forbid, real fight? It was on half the class’ Snapchat story half an hour ago. No matter what you do, someone will know about it.

Chandler Bing

I'm assuming that we've all heard of the hit 90's TV series, Friends, right? Who hasn't? Admittedly, I had pretty low expectations when I first started binge watching the show on Netflix, but I quickly became addicted.

Without a doubt, Chandler Bing is the most relatable character, and there isn't an episode where I don't find myself thinking, Yup, Iam definitely the Chandler of my friend group.

Working with the public can be a job, in and of itself. Some people are just plain rude for no reason. But regardless of how your day is going, always having to be in the best of moods, or at least act like it... right?

1. When a customer wants to return a product, hands you the receipt, where is printed "ALL SALES ARE FINAL" in all caps.

2. Just because you might be having a bad day, and you're in a crappy mood, doesn't make it okay for you to yell at me or be rude to me. I'm a person with feelings, just like you.

3. People refusing to be put on hold when a customer is standing right in front of you. Oh, how I wish I could just hang up on you!
