Looking over your preseason work out like,
Realizing you only have a month left till preseason starts
You think about what your coach will say when you try and get out of it
And your daily motto becomes all about -- well anything but working out
You start to fade into oblivion as you think about all the times you took off "to recover"
And you torture yourself by thinking about the famous phrase "get on the line"
You can already see the reaction on your coach's face when someone asks how many you're doing
And the only work you seem to be doing is getting away
You know you need to get up and moving but...
But preseason is not something you can take lightly
And you know once you get there there's no turning back
But at the end of the day, it all comes down to the love of the game and the reason why you're there
