Starting a whole new semester is always a process in itself. You have to go out and restock on everything, move back into school, and somehow start waking up and getting out of bed at a decent hour for class. It can be pretty tough.
You have to be an adult and go to the store to restock on everything you ran out of and had to borrow from your roommate for the last couple weeks.
You find yourself thinking:I should probably buy a second soap in case I run out again... IS THAT A SALE ON MAC AND CHEESE.
You have to say goodbye to all of your friends from home.
It never gets easier. Never.
Packing is always the process that will forever be difficult.
Did I bring this home because I never used it, or because I would need it while I was home?
That drive back to school that, you know, is always so fun and not boring at all.
Your mom will probably ask what classes you're taking this semester for the sixth time.
That goodbye to your parents once they drop you off where both parties are secretly happy to be rid of each other for a little bit.
See ya when I'm home for break! :) ....I mean :(
The realization that you're going to have to completely change your sleep schedule.
Those first couple morning classes are definitely rough.
That moment when you're reunited with your roommates and you realize how much you missed having them around every day.
Finally, someone I can ask if they know the last time I showered without being judged.
And, finally, the anticipation of all the fun a new semester can bring can get you pretty pumped.
Here's to a brand new semester everybody. Cheers!
