Preparing For The Walking Dead Finale
AMC

It's hard to believe that "The Walking Dead" has been on for five (six?) years. I remember every moment as if it were yesterday. SPOILERS AHEAD. Sophia coming out of the barn. :( Shane. Andrea. Hershel. Beth (I'm crying now). Does anyone remember Jackie? I liked her for the 10 minutes of screen time she had. We've cried and we've cried. Our hearts have jumped out of our chests. But let me tell you. It's about to get much worse. Negan's coming. And so is Lucille.

I don't know about you, but I'm scared for my physical and emotional reaction in the coming week. I can't have any of the cast die. Daryl? Rick? Michonne? CAROL? NO. I refuse to let it happen. I've said since season two if Carol dies, I die. I need her to slay forever in the show. However, I'm having mixed feelings about her demise. Yes, she's going through grief and regret for killing, but I think she's going to come back from it. She's definitely had the best character development. If she winds up killing herself because of Morgan's philosophy to never kill (kind of like her death in the comics) I'll take my remote and throw it at the television so it shatters. I REFUSE to watch it if Carol dies.

Now, on the other hand, she may come back from it. She ran away but Daryl better find her. It makes me wonder if she's safe from Negan's wrath. After Rick sent her away, she was safe from the Governor. She was safe from Terminus (until she went inside and slayed yet again). Will she be safe from Negan's barbed baseball bat? Will she once again hide in the bushes and watch him bash one of their heads in, only to save the day like the Queen she is. History tends to repeat itself.

We all have our own theories on how the finale will go. I think Maggie will get beat. Maybe not to death, but it would be an interesting switch. Glenn is too obvious. We already had his fake out death. It was cheap. It would be cheap to actually kill him off again. Some think it will be Daryl because of his new show. Some think it will be Morgan. Some even think Rick will die. I NEED TO KNOW NOW.

Recently, leaked spoilers have been released talking about the finale. I won't share the details, but it definitely pissed me off. I don't need a cliffhanger. I need answers. I just need to know if Carol is okay. Will she be okay on this Sunday's episode "East"? Stay tuned.

P.S I'm too broke to buy all the comics. I know Negan is crazy AF but I'm truly not prepared for this. I'm scared!

8 Things I Realized After My First Semester In College

Actually, Kylie Jenner, 2018 is the year of realizing things.

The first semester of college is famous for being one of the most difficult transitions of one's young adult life. You're thrown into a completely new area where the majority of the people surrounding you are strangers in an academic environment that's much more challenging then what you've grown accustomed to for the past twelve years. On top of that, you probably share a room with another person (or even multiple people) on the lumpiest "mattress" you've ever slept on.

With this change comes a lot of questions: what do I want to major in? What am I passionate about? Is what I'm passionate about something I'm actually good at? Why does the bathroom smell like cranberry juice and vodka? What is that thing at the bottom of the shower drain?

6 Unrealistic Expectations Society Has For Young Adults

Don't let the thesaurus-inspired vocabularies in our résumés fool you. We're actually just big kids.

Well over four feet tall and 100 pounds in weight, many of us "young adults" of the world still consider ourselves children. Big, working, college-attending, beer-drinking children. We may live on our own, know how to cook noodles, and occasionally use a planner, but don't be fooled; the youthful tendencies that reside within us still make their way into our daily lives. From choosing to stay up until 3:00 a.m. playing video games on a school night to going out in 30 degree weather without a coat, we still make decisions that our parents and grandparents would shake their heads at in disappointment. So why are we expected to know exactly how to be a wise, professional, sensible adult? It's not that we're irresponsible (for the most part, anyway). It's that we are young, inexperienced, and still have the sought-after, enthusiastic mentality that we can do and be whatever we want, which has not yet been tarnished by the reality of the world. These are just a few of the unrealistic expectations that society has for young adults.
