I know that the fall semester just ended and most of us, including myself, want to sleep, However, when you're in college that is impossible, you got to keep moving if you want to be ahead in the game. Here is a short and sweet list on how to prepare for Spring Madness.
Make a schedule of your classes on a planner
By now you should have made your class schedule for the upcoming semester, get it written into your planner and memorize it.
Switch your fall/winter clothes for winter/spring clothes
Nothing says preparation like updating your college wardrobe to the latest season. Not only does it make you feel successful, but it takes a big burden off your chest before Spring Break.
Double check friends and/or ratemyprofessor.com before finalizing the class schedule
If you get a bad vibe before taking the class drop it, the earlier you drop it the better off you are. Double check with friends to see if the professor is good.
Wash rugs and bed sheets before classes start
Did you know you can wash your rugs? Neither did I! No wash your rug so it is smelling fresh for the new semester. It is also a great time to wash your bed sheets to get of last semester's tears.
If you have accommodations, email your professor the week before you get back
If you have accommodations, get access from the Accessibility Center, then send the paper to all of your professors. The sooner you email it in, the better of you are and the better chances you have of talking about your accommodations.
Clear out your fall semester supplies
This break is good for burning papers and selling textbooks you won't need anymore. However, don't overcharge for your used textbooks.
