As I continue my undergraduate studies at Boston University, I am faced with new and fascinating challenges I have never experienced before. From learning about Nietzsche’s philosophical concepts to learning why cell membranes work the way they do, I feel that as days fly by, I learn more and more about the world and myself.

I have always been a person who likes to express her feelings through creativity. I’ve recited motivational speeches and sung in the shower since I can remember. I’ve written poems and have created hundreds of videos. However, I deeply believe that we are living in a time of change and thus, I can no longer keep any work of art to myself.

America is currently in need of a message of hope and knowledge. This is why I decided to join “The Odyssey,” a “social media platform that grants people a voice to bring meaning to the world.” *Thank you Jane the Virgin for making me realize that what I was missing in my life all this time was becoming a writer.
