Spring Break... ugh how I need you! Your late mornings, and even later nights. Filled with smiles, sleep and friends, all of which I haven't seen enough since the start of spring semester. Here is all of our thoughts during the last week before spring break, as told by the cast of Jersey Shore:

1. You're telling me this is due the day we come back? #areyoukidding

2. On Monday morning when you realize that you are not in good enough shape to wear a bathing suit in front of people. And you get the, "Why didn't I go to the gym all semester" thought... in which you respond to by filling this last (already treacherous) week with some daily torture, of going to the gym. #gtl

3. You know when you have the "Is it Friday yet" feeling?... well haha, nope its only Tuesday my friend. So just keep pushing!

4. When you are running on only a few hours of sleep, still have a ton of work to do and someone reminds you that it's only Wednesday. #happyhumpday

5. When your professor insists on reminding your class that it's not spring break yet, so you still need to pay attention.

6. Thursday morning comes along and you have only one project left to hand in and you think, this has been the longest week of my life.

7. Then, of course, Thursday night comes around and you know what that means... #thirstythursdays, and you think to yourself.... my life is a mess I might as well enjoy the shit show that it has come to be.

8. Friday morning comes around, you've finally finished all of your classes and you're officially saying adios to this B.S. for a whole week.

9. The best feeling in the world, putting away your backpack and books like you'll never need them again. #goodbyemyfriend

10. Starting your spring break festivities bright and early because after surviving this week you deserve it.... 3PM black out, here I come!!!!!

It's officially December. There is less than a month of 2024, and I still feel like yesterday was summer. Now comes the merriest time of the year, the Christmas season.

Everyone has been waiting for this time of year since mid-October (which is way too early, in my opinion) or before. It's a time of love, family, memory-making, and gift-giving. A lot of times when I ask friends and family what they want, I get a lot of "I don't know" or "I don't care."

I was sitting at my cubicle, now that I am an adult, looking at the rain pouring down on the windowsill, bumming on life, wishing for the rain to just stop for a full day.

And since this is my first year out of college being a “real person,” I am totally missing the winter, spring and summer breaks. I am sure all of us have felt this way even if just for a hot minute…

If you go to or went to Kent State, then more than likely you have done or will do some of these things.

1. You’ve slipped and fallen on the ice at least once.
