You have blessed my life in more ways than you even know. I pray for nothing less than a life overflowing with love.

For you, I pray for joy in abundance

Not happiness. Happiness is an emotion that comes and goes with the changes of your daily life. I pray for joy that comes only from knowing Jesus.

I pray that you travel the world, but always know where home is

Home is wherever I am. Just kidding (kind of), but seriously--don't forget that even though you may see a lot of extraordinary places, you can always come back home.

I pray that you see yourself the way that I see you

This is a big one. It's honestly offensive when you can't understand why you're so great and why I love you so much. If it helps, I will continue to give you reminders daily of all the ways that you are amazing.

You are incredibly strong; I pray that your strength and resilience are built up daily

You are stronger than most. You have made it through so much already and I have so much faith that you will make it through whatever comes your way.

My prayer is that when troubles come your way, you handle them with grace

Don't let the burdens of life weigh you down, keep moving and handling life in the graceful way that you do.

I pray that you are able to see the natural beauty in yourself

Not only are you nice to look at, you also have a beautiful soul. Lucky is the man who is able to spend his life in the presence of your beauty. Seriously.

I admire your wisdom and I pray that it continues to deepen

You give such solid advice and always have the answers that I need--even when I don't want to hear them.

I pray for a husband who loves you more than I do

This may never happen considering I love you more than Ross loves Rachel, but I'll let a guy try to beat that.

More than anything, I pray that we keep our friendship for a lifetime

Your friendship has been such a blessing in my life and I honestly cannot imagine going through life without you.

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.
