I know I'm still young and don't need to think about getting married anytime soon, but a lot of people I know are either engaged or married so I feel the need to bring up the subject. I'm not planning on getting married anytime soon but I think its important to start thinking about the person you are eventually going to marry and to date as if your goal is marriage, even if you date for a long time before you get married. Personally, I think we all have dreams to marry and be with the man or woman of our dreams, I am preparing myself for that man and I hope he is preparing himself for me. Therefore is a prayer I pray for my future husband.

Dear Lord,

I pray that my future husband is having fun right now (not too much fun, but, you get the point). I hope he is living his life how he wants to live it and is learning the life lessons that You want him to learn. Let him work on his career and to utilize the experiences so he can strive in that career. Let him to not only strive in that career but to love it. Let it be something that will last and that can support a future family and if he is not in right career choice, lead and guide him to the right one; open new doors and experiences.

Father, I pray that he learns or knows that the most important person in his life right now is his mom. Lead his family to raise him in a Godly way. I pray that they are teaching him things that will help him in the future.

If my future husband is in a relationship I hope she is nice and is treating him the way he deserves to be treated, if his heart is broken let it to be healed. Help him to realize that you are the only one that can make his heart whole again not girls, drugs or alcohol but the one who healed and paralyzed man, walked on water and healed the blind. Help him to realizes that this hurt is only temporary and that there was a reason she was in his life. She is just a wound that will one day be a scar. I pray that because of this broken heart he has learned what a relationship should and should not look like in the future.

Lord, most importantly mold him into the Godly man you want him to be, use these young life experiences to men him into an amazing husband and father to my future children. If he hasn't found you yet, I hope he does. I hope your presence, love and grace falls at his feet and that he realizes that you are an amazing and powerful God. I pray that if he has already found you that he realizes that you should be number one and that I should be his number two. I hope he never puts anything above you, Lord. Let him grow closer and closer to you Lord with every step he takes. Let him realize that you are with him every step of the way and that you will never bring him something that he can't handle (without your help of course). I hope he is praying and thinking about his future.

You are awesome Lord and I can't wait to meet the man that you have made for me (If i haven't already met him).

I pray all of these things in your name, Amen.

"Friends" maybe didn’t have everything right or realistic all the time, but they did have enough episodes to create countless reaction GIFs and enough awesomeness to create, well, the legacy they did. Something else that is timeless, a little rough, but memorable? Living away from the comforts of home. Whether you have an apartment, a dorm, your first house, or some sort of residence that is not the house you grew up in, I’m sure you can relate to most of these!

There is nothing quite like family.

Family is kinda like that one ex that you always find yourself running back to (except without all the regret and the angsty breakup texts that come along with it).

No matter how long your class is, there's always time for the mind to wander. Much like taking a shower or trying to fall asleep, sitting in a classroom can be a time when you get some of your best ideas. But, more than likely, you're probably just trying to mentally cope with listening to a boring lecturer drone on and on. Perhaps some of the following Aristotle-esque thoughts have popped into your head during class.

Bob's Burgers
Adult Swim

Bob's Burgers is arguably one of the best and most well-written shows on tv today. That, and it's just plain hilarious. From Louise's crazy antics to Tina's deadpan self-confidence, whether they are planning ways to take over school or craft better burgers, the Belchers know how to have fun. They may not be anywhere close to organized or put together, but they do offer up some wise words once and awhile.

We're in college, none of us actually have anything together. In fact, not having anything together is one of our biggest stressors. However, there's a few little things that we do ever so often that actually make us feel like we have our lives together.

1. Making yourself dinner

And no this does not include ramen or Annie's Mac & Cheese. Making a decent meal for yourself is one of the most adult things you can do living on campus. And the food is much better than it would be at the dining hall.
