CNN reported, that a message posted in Arabic on a dark web site associated with the ISIS news agency Amaq said "the armed attack that targeted a gay night club in the city of Orlando in the American state of Florida and that bore more than a 100 killed and wounded was carried out by an Islamic state fighter."
On June 12, Omar Mir Seddique Mateen attacked and killed innocent people. People he didn't know, people who just wanted to have a night out and enjoy themselves. They were victimized and punished because of who they love. It is despicable and terrifying. Every single person in this world is different and that is something that should be known and accepted. As kids we are told the world is this big and exciting place and we can be whoever we want to be. Clearly, that isn't the case. These people were being themselves and now that is taken away from them.
I am not to familiar with the LGBTQ community, but I am hopeful for them. This is a horrifying and terrible situation, but I am hopeful. I hope that this unites people. I hope that people try to get more of an understanding. I hope that people realize we all have something about us that I am sure people don't like and wouldn't want to be judged and targeted for it.
Those 51 people was someones child, a sibling, a friend and a loved one. They will be terribly missed and were taken from life way to soon. To the wounded keep fighting, but know you have people praying and fighting with you. Fighting to make this world a better place, fighting to assure something like this will never happen again.
Make the change, accept that everyone is different and get over it.
