My Theories For What Will Go Down On The 'Gilmore Girls' Revival
TV Guide

If you're like me, then you've never really let go of "Gilmore Girls" since it went off the air in 2007. You're still quoting every memorable line, trying to find the perfect town like Stars Hollow to live in, and trying to live your life with as many "Gilmore-isms" as possible.

So, when you heard rumors about a Netflix revival months ago, you could barely contain yourself. Am I right?

But nothing had been confirmed. You had just been holding out hope that this was true and praying to the Gilmore Gods.

The Gilmore Gods have answered! The revival has been confirmed, and after this tweet by Lauren Graham (who plays Lorelai Gilmore in the series), we are all jumping with joy.

"I CAN NOW CONFIRM: it's time for me, and this jacket I stole in 2007 to get to work."

It's happening. It's really happening. Writer and creator Amy Sherman-Palladino has teamed up with Netflix to release four 90-minute episodes.

They're like four mini movies, guys!

There are so many possibilities here — story lines we wish to be continued, new ones we have been fantasizing about — and what if they are all about to come true?

We left Rory and Lorelai in Stars Hollow, sending Rory off in a huge bon voyage party in the center of town. She had accepted a job working on Senator Obama's campaign (aka the President of the United States. Tell me Rory didn't have anything to do with that...) Rory had just broken up with serious boyfriend Logan after rejecting his proposal. We also get a *hint hint* that Luke and Lorelai may be getting back together.

So, where do you want to see the Gilmore Girls end up in the series coming up? Here are a few of my ideas:

Obviously, Luke and Lorelai have finally gotten married and put all their problems behind them. But instead of dragging us through more angst around wedding planning and finally committing to one another, they should just already be married. Save us *some* of the drama.

As for Christopher — good riddance. Honestly, he just messes everything up, and besides from being a part of Rory's life, I just think he shouldn't be in the way. That's just my opinion.

Now, we all know beloved actor Edward Herrmann (Richard Gilmore) passed away in 2014. Obviously, they will somehow work his passing into the show. But now that he's gone, what will Emily do? Emily is such a strong and powerful woman and a total BA — I think after Richard's passing she would assume more powerful leadership roles around the community beyond the D.A.R (Daughters of the American Revolution). Go, Emily Gilmore, go. She also has fired more than 100 maids since, because some things never change.

As for Zach and Lane, they should be off somewhere with their children making it big. They don't belong in Stars Hollow anymore — they're in somewhere like Portland, Oregon where their band is a huge hit. They send postcards.

But what about Rory? Amazing, smart, beautiful Rory? Well, I don't know about you, but I think Rory's life has been just too easy. She was born knowing exactly what she wanted to do, went to an Ivy League to study journalism just like she planned, and got an amazing job right out of college doing what she loves. But, wouldn't it be great if we caught up with Rory Gilmore doing something different? Rory was still so young when the series left us. What if she found something she loves more? What if Rory became a novelist instead? We all know she loves books, and with the crazy stuff her and her mother come up with, she has a good imagination for fiction.

Which brings me to what I want most of all for the series...

Her reunion with Jess: Everyone knows they belong together. They were the best couple. Especially when we caught up with Jess in the sixth season, when he had just published a book and told Rory it was because of her that he could do it. Common. And then she goes back to that jerk Logan. (Who I think ended up with some high society lady that her parents actually liked.)

So, basically they're writing books together and own a cat and two dogs and live in Stars Hollow and live happily ever after, OK?

Oh, and Dean still lives there too. Lurking around the corner pining after Rory after all these years. He's also a demon hunter but that's only on the side.

Well, that's all I have, but there is still time for me to come up with more theories. Do you like what I think should become of the revival? Or do you totally disagree and have your own thoughts! Let me know!!

For as long as I can remember, I have been listening to The Beatles. Every year, my mom would appropriately blast “Birthday” on anyone’s birthday. I knew all of the words to “Back In The U.S.S.R” by the time I was 5 (Even though I had no idea what or where the U.S.S.R was). I grew up with John, Paul, George, and Ringo instead Justin, JC, Joey, Chris and Lance (I had to google N*SYNC to remember their names). The highlight of my short life was Paul McCartney in concert twice. I’m not someone to “fangirl” but those days I fangirled hard. The music of The Beatles has gotten me through everything. Their songs have brought me more joy, peace, and comfort. I can listen to them in any situation and find what I need. Here are the best lyrics from The Beatles for every and any occasion.

Small towns certainly have their pros and cons. Many people who grow up in small towns find themselves counting the days until they get to escape their roots and plant new ones in bigger, "better" places. And that's fine. I'd be lying if I said I hadn't thought those same thoughts before too. We all have, but they say it's important to remember where you came from. When I think about where I come from, I can't help having an overwhelming feeling of gratitude for my roots. Being from a small town has taught me so many important lessons that I will carry with me for the rest of my life.

I can't say "thank you" enough to express how grateful I am for you coming into my life. You have made such a huge impact on my life. I would not be the person I am today without you and I know that you will keep inspiring me to become an even better version of myself.

Course registration at college can be a big hassle and is almost never talked about. Classes you want to take fill up before you get a chance to register. You might change your mind about a class you want to take and must struggle to find another class to fit in the same time period. You also have to make sure no classes clash by time. Like I said, it's a big hassle.

This semester, I was waitlisted for two classes. Most people in this situation, especially first years, freak out because they don't know what to do. Here is what you should do when this happens.
