With October wrapping up, and November soon approaching, there are many things to look forward to next month. November includes Thanksgiving, a day filled with a ton of yummy, comfort foods and even the crazy sales of Black Friday. But November is also a pivotal month in the music industry with highly anticipated album releases for major artists like Adele and Ellie Goulding coming out. So here is a list of these albums releasing next month and featured tracks from the albums.
1. Ellie Goulding's "Delirium" (Nov. 6)
Ellie Goulding wanted to experiment with her sound on her upcoming album. She stayed true to her iconic voice, but mixed it up with the fast, up-beat track "On My Mind." This catchy track is unique, but stays true to Goulding's voice and is definitely on my November playlist.
2. CeeLo Green "Heart Blanche" (Nov. 6)
After his long hiatus, CeeLo Green is back with his new album, "Heart Blanche." Green has been out of the music scene for a couple of years after his social media rants, and tells fans, he wants his new album to do the talking about his feelings regarding the scandal.
3. Seal's "7" (Nov. 6)
Seal is back, need I say more.
4. Little Mix's "Get Weird" (Nov. 6)
Little Mix's new album will be released early November, but several tracks have already been released to fans. "Black Magic" and "Love Me Like You" are two up-beat tracks that have been at the top of the charts and are two of my favorites for any workout playlist from this British group.
5. Sam Smith's "In the Lonely Hour" - Drowning Shadows Edition (Nov. 6)
Sam Smith's, "In the Lonely Hour" was released early last year, but Smith has created a new edition to be released this November. This new edition will feature his covers of popular artists, as well as, live performances with other amazing artists, like this one with Disclosure.
7. One Direction's "Made in the A.M." (Nov. 13)
Yes, One Direction is back, minus one member with this new album, "Made in the A.M." Still popular as ever, One Direction has been topping charts with their featured song, "Drag Me Down." Even if you aren't a One Direction fan, this song is still catchy, and hey, who doesn't love a music video set at NASA?
7. Chris Young "I'm Comin' Over" (Nov. 13)
For all the country music fans out there, Chris Young will be releasing a new album this month. The album features several popular country tracks, including this duet with Cassadee Pope.
8. Justin Bieber's "Purpose" (Nov. 13)
I know you might be wondering why I included this one. Why Justin Bieber? But "What Do You Mean?" is actually a catchy song that has been constantly replayed on the radio and topping the charts. So even if you aren't a Belieber, I think the album will still be good and I am intrigued to listen to it.
9. Alessia Cara "Know-It-All" (Nov. 13)
Alessia Cara has been a prominent artist in the music industry this year. Several of her tracks released early from her new album have been quite popular including "Here" and "Outlaws."
10. Adele's "25" (Nov. 20)
If you haven't heard "Hello" yet, stop reading this and click play. "Hello" is the first song released from her upcoming album, "25," and has been a trending topic this week on social media. The song features all that fans love about Adele's unique voice, so give it a listen.
