Powerful Woman: My Routine To Be Satisfied Every Day
Molly Camille Janusz

I have a lot of people who come up to me and ask me how I seem to have my life all together and how I had lived alone for my first year of college.

First of all:

I do not have it all together. I can promise you that.

I am as mixed up as a box of Chex Mix as it can be. In fact, if the amount of pretzels they put in Chex Mix was the amount of confusion I still have in my life, well, (if you're a Chex Mix lover you would know),

IT'S ALOT OF CONFUSION.

One thing I do seem to have together is my routine and I think in order to feel more put together throughout the day and throughout life, having a routine is something that will help put your morning together and then eventually help to form the rest of your day into what you want it to be.

Here is my morning routine. Hopefully it'll give you a little inspiration to wake up early, refreshed and ready to take on the day.

1. Getting Up Early In The Morning

Getting up early in the morning (I'm talking 5:30/6am and no later) helps you to get a start to your day, a bit of alone time is actually proven to give you more energy throughout the day.

2. Not Looking At Your Phone In The Morning

Sometimes you just need to wake up and enjoy waking up and doing your daily routine in the morning without checking Facebook, Instagram and your texts. The simplest thing on your phone could upset you and it's not worth ruining the start of your day because of something probably, dumb.

3. Goals for the Day

Write out those daily goals and tasks you have to get done for the day. When it is laid out in front of you, you will know what you need to get done- what you got done, and at the end of the day you will feel a lot more accomplished.

4. Oatmeal

Oatmeal is a super powerful super food that gives you energy and is a meal you can change up and make so many different varieties of it! Add some blueberries and brown sugar one morning. The next? A little bit of maple syrup, apples, chia and flax seeds. You are all set!

5. Working Out (In the Morning If Possible)

Get those hips a movin' and groovin' to the beat! Or just go run on the treadmill if that's your thing. But do it in the morning! Doing this right when you wake up gives you the energy to make it through the day. It gets that heartbeat going and honestly, after a good workout, I always feel like I can conquer anything.

6. Powerful Statement Ritual In the Morning

Make sure to tell yourself who you are. That inner voice in your head needs to be pounding into your head that you can do anything and take on anyone! Pick a few statements or bible verses that tell you that you are powerful, wonderful & worth it.

7. Morning, Afternoon and Evening Baths

Just learn to take baths everyday, all day.

Honestly though. I take a bath right when I get up in the morning, usually in the afternoon after class to relax and then at night before I go to bed. This will give you time to yourself, and it is a bit of peace and is a wonderful feeling.

8. Epsom Salts

Epsom salts in any form are really good for you. They are proven to be very beneficial to take away cramps, aches, pain and everything else basically. I usually pour a cup of epsom salts in every bath I take and then I have a Eucalyptus Creme as well.

9. Good Music

Last but not least, play some good music! Wake up and feel refreshed with some hard rock to wake the mind up, indie folk to relax or even some instrumentals to help calm down. This will definitely set you in the realm to feel powerful throughout the day.
