Power Hours: As Told By Michael Scott

Michael Scott knows that hard work is...well, hard.

On the walk to class: You are slightly hysterical and completely irrational. Survive a shark attack, get on a broken roller coaster, and swim in a pool of spiders are among many things you would rather do than sit through this power hour.

Right before you walk into class: You try to put on a brave face. This is your last opportunity to turn around and go back home. You do the responsible thing and go in, despite the agony about to ensue.

The teacher begins lecturing: You ask, "Why did I do this to myself?" How will you survive? You wear out every form of social media on your phone. Three times.

When your friend asks you a question about the lecture: Honestly does he think you're paying attention? You look at the screen. Your eyes cross slightly. Is that hieroglyphics? How long have you been spacing out?

Your teacher calls on you: Should I make something up or pretend I'm still thinking? I DON'T KNOW THE ANSWER.

You pretend to go to the bathroom just to kill time: You don't even care about what you miss when you're gone. It's not like you knew what was happening anyway. Go ahead, wash your hands four times.

Class is finally over: You're immensely relieved, but still aggravated by the boredom you just endured. There goes 75 minutes of your life YOU NEVER GET BACK. You bolt towards the door with a disgusted look on your face. Somehow, you survived."
