Well you have just had the best week of the year, your spring break. Whether you traveled and spent the week in an exotic location or you spent it on your couch binge watching one of your favorite shows, it is hard to get over the sadness you face as you know you will have to return to school and to your daily routine.
The best thing about spring break is at the perfect time when you really need a week off from school. You are at the halfway point of the semester and you cannot think of anything better than not being at school and doing anything but homework or studying.This is why we always get so sad when we realize we still have a while to go until our next break, summer.
You will forget everything you have done in all of your classes. You may even forget how to add or subtract due to all the sun you got the past week. You will be definitely be riding the struggle bus as you return to school and try to do everything you left behind for a week. It may have only been a week off, but it will feel like months.
In order to get over this struggle, know that you are not alone. Everyone else on campus is feeling the same way as you are. They would much rather be adventuring or doing nothing like they did last week. But know if they can pull through, you can too! It will take some effort but before you know it, you will be back and used to your daily routine.
But don't completely block out all the fun you had during your spring break. You probably made tons memories, for some they will last a lifetime and others maybe not for long. But either way those memories will motivate you to get through the rest of the semester and know that when the semester ends, that one week you had of spring break will be what three months of summer will look like.
So no need to have Post Spring Break Depression, because before you know it, it will be summer and you will once again have no worries and have the time of your life.
