Who doesn't love the food at Portillo's? The only thing that gets in the way between you and your food at Portillo's is the line, but the wait at Portillo's just got shorter!

The popular Chicago-style food resturant announced Monday August 8th, Portillo’s will launch an app for Apple, Android devices, allowing you to order food for pickup that was create to allow customers for pickup inside the restaurant or even in the drive-thru, according to a Portillo's news release.

Customers get $5 off a mobile order of $15 or more when they use the promo code "HOTDOG" at checkout, the news release said. Also, those who register on the app from now through the end of the month will also be eligible in a contest to win Portillo's meals for a year!

After placing an order thru the app, customers can pick up inside the restaurant — either to the bar area or a kiosk near the front door, depending on the restaurant — or in the drive-thru, which typically has a second lane so customers can get their food and then pull around the other cars, Portillo's spokesman Nick Scarpino said in an email.

“Our original ordering system that we still use today was created by founder Dick Portillo. In the restaurant our teams write customer orders as short abbreviations on each Portillo’s bag, which are identifiable to our whole team,” says Keith Kinsey, Portillo’s CEO said in the statement. “It was important to us to maintain this piece of our brand identity as we expanded our digital offerings. The Olo team was able to work with us to create a unique product that is unlike any other restaurant app.”

Once downloaded, the app allows users to select a Portillo’s location, choose their food and place their order for in-store or drive-thru pickup, allowing them to skip the line.

birthday party

My birthday has never been my favorite holiday. I've found that I'm more excited to celebrate my friends' and family members' birthdays more than my own. I don't like being the center of attention, so I usually celebrate over dinner with a small group of family and friends. This way, I can enjoy myself naturally without feeling like I have to entertain everyone and make sure they are satisfied. In the past when I've had large parties, I was so nervous that people weren't perfectly content that I didn't enjoy myself at my own celebration.

College Informations

Most of us have already started the spring semester, and for those of you who haven't started yet, you suck.

It seems like coming back from winter break wouldn't really be a break all things considered, since we all come back to school and pick up right where we left off. We know exactly what to expect, yet we're unprepared every single time.

There are tons of unisex names that are popular: Taylor, Alex, Bailey, etc. There are also numerous names that are used for both sexes, but they’re not seen as “unisex” yet. People are slowly becoming accustomed to the dual use of these names, but for the most part, in their minds they associate certain names with certain sexes. And that leaves those of us with these names in many awkward situations.
