So, there is only a little time left in Lent and we are about halfway through the semester. This means that our lives are a little sluggish and we are kind of just going through the motions. However, we shouldn't be doing this! We need to fully embrace life in all it's sameness and see the awesomeness in everyday moments. We need some inspiration! Who better to go to for inspiration than the amazing Pope Francis? So, without further ado, here are some inspiring quotes to get you out of your slump.

1. "Life is a journey. When we stop, things don't go right."

This is a really good one! It reminds us not to stop enjoying this amazing life we have.

2. "If your prayer life is boring, you're focusing on yourself, not Jesus, not the needy."

Wow, wake up call! If I am going through the motions, of course my prayer life is going to be boring! What wouldn't be? I need to start focusing on a relationship with Jesus, not just what I will get out of praying.

3. "Ask Jesus what he wants from you and be brave!"

This is by far my favorite quote because it reminds me that sometimes His plan might seem scary, but He will guide us through.

4. "The world tells us to seek success, power, and money; God tells us to seek humility, service, and love."

A good reminder for now and the future. At the end of the day, your success in business or the amount of money you have will not really matter.

5. "Dear young people, do not bury your talents, the gifts that God has given you! Do not be afraid to dream of great things."

This quote reminds me that God has great plans for me...greater than I could even imagine. I need to trust Him and let Him do His awesome thing!

6. "Have the courage to be truly happy."

This quote is so simple but so powerful. Have the courage to lead a proactive life. Have the courage to stand up for people. Have the courage to pursue a loving and awesome relationship with Jesus. After all, you need to be a little brave and reach higher than you thought you could to be truly happy in a relationship with God.

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
