Who’s tired of politics?
Who’s tired of the game?
Who’s tired from attempting to make sense of what doesn’t make sense?
Who’s tired of trying to justify things that do not make sense to justify?
Who’s tired of just accepting something because they have to?
If you answered 3 or more of these questions, it is likely that you are currently upset about something, whether you have felt comfortable or not accepting it yet.
It is challenging at times to admit that we disagree with something against what we are told is acceptable, especially when we do not want to stir the pot or cause any animosity towards ourselves.
But it is acceptable to not agree. It is acceptable to stand up for something you feel is not right. And we shouldn’t be scared to anymore.
But aside the worry of being ridiculed and realize that is incredibly important to fight for what you believe in, in this world.
Politics are going to be everywhere, but in order to bring change to make different areas of society fairer, sometimes it takes raising some questions against the norm.
Before you start to ask questions -- we need to take time to identify what about the issue is most important, and what tangible thing are you wishing to rectify about the situation.
If you can not identify these things, how are others suppose to connect the dots and help make the change?
Politics are going to be everywhere. We will never be able to eliminate them completely. However, by being comfortable and laying out a plan to bring forward questions, we are working to let the people bringing politics into situations realize that people are watching.
