Poland. The fastest caricaturist for the event

In This Article:

A well-known caricaturist from Poland has been posting photos on social media since the beginning of the summer. He is in a different city in each photo. Gdansk, Wroclaw, Warsaw, Lublin. Why does it do that?

Traveling caricaturist

An inventive and original promotion? Definitely. Joke and parody? Also. Sadurski, the fastest caricaturist, is invited to another event every few days. He draws cheerful caricatures live and is very famous for it.

The photos show Sadurski and cardboard boxes with an inscription and large numbers. In every town he visits, he promises to make a large number of caricatures. Provided that soon he will be invited here again for further events.

The satirist does the same as the prime minister of the Polish government. This one photographed himself with cardboard boxes and large numbers. These numbers are amounts of money. Unfortunately, so far this is virtual, promised money and no one has received it.

Get to know the profession of a caricaturist

These photos also show that not all cartoonists work stationary, on the street. Sadurski is an event cartoonist. His profession is related to travelling. He draws where events are organized. Meeting, business, conference, trade fairs, also a formal wedding.

Sadurski cheers up with his work, i.e. witty portraits made in front of the viewers. He draws in a hotel by the sea, soon after a few hundred kilometers away, in the mountains. It happens that one day you have to drive over 500 kilometers to the next event.

The fastest caricaturist

Who is the artist who promotes his professional activity with inventive photos? This is Szczepan Sadurski. Some in Poland know him as a press cartoonist, others know him as the publisher of Dobry Humor (Good Humor) magazine. Or as president of an international organization - Good Humor Party. Currently, Sadurski cheers up and brings a smile to people's faces by drawing funny caricatures.

He draws caricatures not only in Poland. He is also invited to events organized in other countries. He is "one of the fastest caricaturists in the world", as the press in New York wrote about him. Why is he called the fastest cartoonist? Because Sadurski needs only 100 seconds to create a witty caricature!

Currently, a professional documentary film is being made, the protagonist of which will be Sadurski. We will learn many anecdotes from his interesting life. Perhaps he will tell us how it is possible that cheerful portraits can be drawn so quickly?

New year, new semester, not the same old thing. This semester will be a semester to redeem all the mistakes made in the previous five months.

1. I will wake up (sorta) on time for class.

Let's face it, last semester you woke up with enough time to brush your teeth and get to class and even then you were about 10 minutes late and rollin' in with some pretty unfortunate bed head. This semester we will set our alarms, wake up with time to get ready, and get to class on time!

And so it begins.

1. Walk in motivated and ready to rock

Camping out at the library is not for the faint of heart. You need to go in as a warrior. You usually have brought supplies (laptop, chargers, and textbooks) and sustenance (water, snacks, and blanket/sweatpants) since the battle will be for an undetermined length of time. Perhaps it is one assignment or perhaps it's four. You are motivated and prepared; you don’t doubt the assignment(s) will take time, but you know it couldn’t be that long.
