Pokemon go or no??

Pokemon go or no??
El Android Libre

Just like the majority of my generation those, of us who grew up in the early nineties I love Pokemon. It's an animated series that many of us fell in love with in elementary school, and we were convinced one day we could catch em' all too. However recently this whole Pokemon Go game has, of course, sparked that love once again and for many of us, not all... but many have found us a game that actually makes us feel like we also can be Pokemon trainers, and we also can catch them all.

However this game has become a bit of a nuisance and a hazard to others. For example, I would like to paint a scene for you, A friend of mine works for the water plant in my city. He works the night shift as well as the afternoon shift, and he is at the water plant alone and secluded way back in the woods...just last week I was there to drop something off for him as I approached the secured electronic gate I noticed he was sitting there talking to someone on the other side of the fence. Later on, I was able to ask him what was going on only to find out that the young man standing on the outside of the fence had climbed over the fence in an attempt to retrieve a Pokemon. This person had trespassed onto city property and got the cops called on him in attempts to retrieve a Pokemon. This is extremely ridiculous. It is only one example of the stupidity and the danger that Pokemon go is causing people to do. Not only to mention the people who are Pokemon going while they drive or just not looking where they're going, in general, it's also a potential Hazard for children who may be walking into the middle of the street attempting to retrieve a Pokemon.

There is good and bad to everything; I can see the benefits of the game, it has definitely made people more active but to what extent? It's great if the game keeps you active but it is bad if it keeps you distracted and putting you in dangerous situations. I think whoever created the game was very brilliant, very smart to say the least. He took something that people loved, he harnessed it and gave them the feeling of being inside the game. All I say is please people when you decide to go out to Pokemon use intelligence and caution in your search. Happy hunting!!!

Daydreaming

day·dream (ˈdāˌdrēm/): a series of pleasant thoughts that distract one's attention from the present.

Daydreams, the savior of our life in class. Every type of student in the classroom does it at least once, but most cases it is an everyday event, especially in that boring class -- you know the one. But what are we thinking while we are daydreaming?

11 Things Summer Nannies Can Relate To

As a college student, being a nanny over the summer is both enjoyable and challenging. Underneath the seemingly perfect trips to the pool or countless hours spent playing Monopoly are the obstacles that only nannies will understand. Trading in your valuable summer vacation in return for three months spent with a few children less than half your age may seem unappealing, but so many moments make it rewarding. For my fellow summer nannies out there, I know you can relate.

If it hurts now, it'll hurt again. Not because you're gullible or naive, only because you fall fast, hard, and you do it every time.

We fall each and every time with the complete and utter confidence that someone will be there to catch us. Now that person we SWORE we were never going to fall for has our hearts, and every time we see them our palms start sweating. The butterflies in our stomach start to soar and our hearts are entirely too close to bursting out of our chests.

Growing up I have always wanted to own a horse. My grandparents own a well known equestrian facility in Georgia, so I have been riding since I was born. A bond between a person and their horse is a bond so strong that it cannot be broken. Everywhere I went I wanted to be around horses, even forcing my family to go on trail rides during vacations. Horses have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember has taught me great responsibility, as well as 14 things that all equestrians can relate to.

College is super hard. Between working, studying, and having a social life, it feels like a struggle to just keep afloat.

I understand. When you feel like your drowning and there's no way to stay afloat I understand that it feels like everyone else is doing just fine. I understand all the frustration, long nights in the library, and that feeling that you want to just throw in the towel. I understand that sometimes it's too hard to get out of bed because your brain is already filled with too much information to remember. I understand because I am also feeling pretty burnt out.
