11 Thoughts While Playing Pokemon Go
Forbes

Pokemon Go is becoming the number one app in the world. For those of you who have no idea what I am talking about, Pokemon Go is an interactive mobile app where you find Pokemon in your location. You can walk or even drive to different place to find these Pokemon. Once you reach level five, you pick a team at a "gym" (battle zones) and you can battle Pokemon. There are also Pokestops where you can go to leave "lures" or other fun items for other people to use as well. I recently downloaded the game myself and I am hooked on it! Whenever I am out, I find myself turning on the game to see if any new Pokemon are near me. For those of you who know what I am talking about...I figured we all think the same few things when playing Pokemon Go.

1. You find yourself opening the app whenever you're in a different area...even if it is five steps away from your last spot.

At this point, people are assuming that you're always on your phone, texting.... but that's not it, we promise! We just have to catch them all!

2. You get way too excited when you catch one, especially on the first throw.

Yes! I got points for a great throw and catching the Squirtle! Level up yet? Holla!

3. Why do I keep getting Rattatas and Pidgeys?!

Are you kidding me? I want squirtles, geodudes, pikachus! Give them to me!!!! I have too many of these typical ones.

4. It keeps saying it is nearby, but where THE H*LL am I supposed to walk to find it?!

Do I go over here? Do I walk that way? I wish this "nearby" feature would help me out some more.

5. There is a lure at that Pokestop! Let's go!

I hope I get the five new Pokemon! I wonder if they have pokeballs there too! I wonder how crowded it is.

6. Maybe if I open and close the app every twp minutes then new Pokemon will appear.

I keep getting the same ones..nothing new. I guess I have to actually go walk around and find new ones? Darn.

7. Why do these keep breaking out of the Pokeballs?

Stay with me. You will be safe. Do not run away from me. I spent good money on these Pokeballs...do not waste them.

8. Team Valor? Team Mystic? Team Instinct?

I don't know who to choose. So much pressure. I am going to lose friends either way it seems.

9. Hope no one minds if I buy more Pokeballs!

Hey, I am just buying a present for myself.....? I just don't think you understand how important this is to me. I gotta do what makes me happy.

10. You end up getting too close to other people when trying to find Pokemon...

Oops, sorry sir, just trying to catch Meowth. Don't mind me. Act like I am not even here.

11. I wish the server would stop crashing...

Dear Pokemon Go, I just want to catch 'em all. Fix your servers, please. Sincerely, everyone.

Christmas Tree
History.com

Now that Halloween is over, it's time to focus on the Holiday Season. Don't get me wrong, I think Thanksgiving is great and can't wait for it, but nothing gives me greater joy than watching Freeform's 25 Days of Christmas, lighting peppermint scented candles, decking the halls, and baking gingerbread cookies. So while we approach the greatest time of the year, let's watch the 15 best Christmas movies of all time.

6 Signs You Are An English Major

There are various stereotypes about college students, most of which revolve around the concept of your major. Unfortunately, we often let stereotypes precede our own judgments, and we take what information is immediately available to us rather than forming our own opinions after considerable reflection. If I got a dollar for every time my friends have made a joke about my major I could pay my tuition. One stereotype on campus is the sensitive, overly critical and rigid English major. Here are six telltale signs you are one of them.

27 Things 'The Office' Has Taught Us

"The Office" is a mockumentary based on everyday office life featuring love triangles, silly pranks and everything in between. It can get pretty crazy for just an average day at the office.

When you were little, your parents probably told you television makes your brain rot so you wouldn't watch it for twelve straight hours. However, I feel we can learn some pretty valuable stuff from television shows. "The Office," while a comedy, has some pretty teachable moments thrown in there. You may not know how to react in a situation where a co-worker does something crazy (like put your office supplies in jello) but thanks to "The Office," now you'll have an idea how to behave ifsomething like that should happen.

Here are just a few of the things that religious Office watchers can expect to learn.

Being pre-med is quite a journey. It’s not easy juggling school work, extracurricular activities, volunteering, shadowing, research, and MCAT prep all at the same time. High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

Books were always about understanding for me, about learning the way someone else sees, about connection.

High School And College Sucked All Of The Fun Out Of Reading

I keep making this joke whenever the idea of books is brought up: "God, I wish I knew how to read." It runs parallel to another stupid phrase, as I watch my friends struggle through their calculus classes late at night in our floor lounge: "I hope this is the year that I learn to count." They're both truly idiotic expressions, but, when I consider the former, I sometimes wonder if there's some truth to it.
