A franchise that is synonymous with globalization and has attracted people of all ages and backgrounds, "Pokemon" has captured the heart and imagination of the entire planet for the past 20 years.

From humble beginnings of the Kanto region, to the most recent and mythical land of the Kalos region, the Pokemon franchise welcomes the seventh generation of new species and friends, the Alola region. Welcome to "Pokemon: Sun and Moon."

The titular games of the franchise have always had an interesting theme, ranging from a myriad of ideas. Everything from "Pokemon: Red and Blue" to "Pokemon: Silver and Crystal," "Pokemon: Diamond and Pearl" to "Pokemon: X and Y," now it is time to look to the stars, go beyond human comprehension and seek guidance amongst the heavenly celestial bodies of the sky.

The sun and the moon, two total opposites that complement each other, the version mascots are named Solgaleo and Lunala.

Solgaleo, who represents the sun and its warmth, is a hard-hitting legendary Pokemon, takes the form of a lion, while Lunala, a mysterious and beautiful Pokemon who resembles a bat, takes the place of the moon.

As for the starters, they are as cute as can be and have big shoes to fill in. As such, grass, fire and water are the basic types of starters that trainers can choose from, either due to preference or the coolness factor. Either way, trainers will have a blast when choosing from either starter.

Trainers have one of their options being Rowlett, the grass-type starter, who is an owl and cute as a button. Next up is Litten, the fire-type starter, a cat with grace and poise that only cat lovers can love. Lastly, there is Popplio, the water-type starter, a sea lion pup with a big personality.

The Alola region has already taken influence from the tropical islands of Hawaii, taking in a hot, beautiful and amazing feel to it, ready to take players on a different journey than before.

This will be a revolutionary and important milestone of the "Pokemon" franchise. Very similar to the Kalos region of "X and Y," where the stunning graphics and in-depth storyline changed the entire look of "Pokemon: Sun and Moon" will not only make "Pokemon" even better, it will transcend the limitations of what a video game can do.

Game play and E3 footage has already shown what this game's potential is, and it will be very impressive to see where the direction of the game will take. The possibilities are endless, such as more Pokemon species, characters, scenarios and even more mega evolution's.

One thing is for certain, "Pokemon: Sun and Moon" will turn everything upside down, completely changing the scene of video games and pop culture.

Writing a paper is never fun and is rarely rewarding. The writer's block, the page requirement, be specific, but don’t summarize, make sure you fixed any grammatical errors, did you even use spellcheck? and analyze, analyze, analyze.

Papers can be a major pain. They take up so much time and effort that by the end of the process you hate yourself and you hate the professor for making life so difficult. Questions of your existence start roaming in your mind. Am I even cut out for college if I can’t write a single paper? Am I even capable of taking care of myself if I lack the energy to open my laptop and start typing?

I can barely remember back when I was the only child. Most would say it’s because it is extremely difficult to remember things as a toddler but I would say it's because I was bored until my sister came along. My mother always says how important the "sister bond" is and with every year that passes I realize how right she is. Instead of writing a novel about all of the wonderful things there are about having a sister I decided to list a few of them instead.

It is the time of our lives that we are beginning to enter the adult world and most of us, if not all of us, have no idea what we are doing. It's like starting a video game, but skipping the tutorial. We're all just running around aimlessly hoping we accidentally do something right that moves us along the right path. Now that graduation has just happened, or is right around the corner for some of us, it's time to start thinking about how we are going to take care of ourselves once we are on our own.
