Many have been waiting for this game for years; just recently hordes of people have been stocking up on more Pokémon merchandise and even buying the first generation games to re-experience their childhood all over again. Others are new to the craze but have been enjoying this realistic virtual reality game just as much as old fans. Down below is a list of why "Pokémon Go" is one of the greatest games to come out as well as some tips and tricks to maximize your experience.

1. It is based entirely on your location from your GPS.

2. The game is entirely free just as long as your phone can support it.

3. Right away when starting your game you can choose which starter you want.

4. If you ignore the first three starters and walk past them the game should give the option to pick Pikachu as your starter.

5. Even though it is rare you will be able to catch the other starters later.

6. Pokémon can be found in the wild the more you walk or they can be found simply inside your own home.

7. There is no age restriction to the game.

8. The game lets you know on the bottom right which Pokémon are in the area.

9. Pay attention to footsteps, fewer steps let you know how close you are to that Pokémon to catch.

10. Certain Pokémon are based on your surroundings such as lakes.

11. Specific Pokémon come out during the day and night.

12. Your game lets you know when a Pokémon is near so you don’t have to keep your phone out the entire time.

13. Rustling leaves could also mean there is a Pokémon nearby.

14. It is rumored that certain locations will have future events to catch legendary Pokémon.

15. Not only are there common to rare Pokémon but there is a circle system to let you know how easy they are to catch. Green circle is easiest, yellow is moderate, and red is strong.

16. Also the smaller the circle the better chance you have at keeping the Pokémon in the Pokéball.

17. Some Pokémon run away, keeping the game challenging.

18. You can turn off AR mode to keep Pokémon centered so they are easier to catch.

19. If you use incense, berries, or lures you increase your chances of catching more.

20. PokéStops can be found and some are close together.

21. PokéStops can be in a group as big as 34 or more.

22. PokéStops reset every 5 minutes.

23. Stops can give you revives, more Pokéball, eggs to hatch, potions, stardust and more.

24. You get to pick one of three teams and compete against your friends.

25. Teams include taking hold of gyms and fighting others.

26. Revives can be used to restore your beaten Pokémon at gyms.

27. When you hold a gym you get free stuff.

28. The more you catch the same Pokémon the closer you are to leveling up your Pokémon and evolving them.

29. Spinning your Pokéball makes it easier to catch Pokémon if you can land the hit.

30. The app itself does not use as much data as you think it would.

31. The game has created more outing events and gatherings as well as new connections with people.

32. Pokémon GO has also created a sense of purpose to go outside and has greatly improved many people's mental health.

33. There is the option to put the game and your phone on Battery Saver mode.

34. The game is still in its beta and there is more to come such as a trading system.

Raising the minimum wage to a livable wage would not only benefit workers and their families, it would also have positive impacts on the economy and society. Studies have shown that by increasing the minimum wage, poverty and inequality can be reduced by enabling workers to meet their basic needs and reducing income disparities.

I come from a low-income family. A family, like many others in the United States, which has lived paycheck to paycheck. My family and other families in my community have been trying to make ends meet by living on the minimum wage. We are proof that it doesn't work.

Every college student knows and understands the struggle of forcing themselves to continue to care about school. Between the piles of homework, the hours of studying and the painfully long lectures, the desire to dropout is something that is constantly weighing on each and every one of us, but the glimmer of hope at the end of the tunnel helps to keep us motivated. While we are somehow managing to stay enrolled and (semi) alert, that does not mean that our inner-demons aren't telling us otherwise, and who is better to explain inner-demons than the beloved April Ludgate herself? Because of her dark-spirit and lack of filter, April has successfully been able to describe the emotional roller-coaster that is college on at least 13 different occasions and here they are.
