Pokémon Go has taken the world by storm, and has become a phenomenon over night. It has surpassed Twitter in active daily users, and has been searched more times this year than pornography has globally. Pokémon Go is a mobile version of a video game released in the 1990's with a twist. It is a simple concept, based on bug catching but with a twist. Currently users are able to track, catch and evolve 151 different kinds of Pokémon. If you aren't playing this game yet, do yourself the favor of giving it a try! It's free to download. I have come across players ranging from 5- to 65-years-old having a (poké)ball playing. Users are more active and adventurous while they spend more time outdoors. Here are 10 things all Pokémon Go players can relate to:

1. When your phone's battery dies and you don't know what to do.

The game is a real killer on your battery because it uses your GPS and runs the application at the same time to track your movement in real time.

2. Feeling like a little kid when your favorite Pokémon appears.

In a world full of Rattata's and Pidgey's finding your favorite is like striking gold.

3. Catching your Pokémon on the first throw.

This honestly needs no explanation, just keep on victory dancing quietly while you play

4. When you get an egg at a Pokéstop.

Trainer's can incubate and hatch their eggs to reveal a random Pokémon. The strength is determined based on how far you have to walk ranging from 2-to-10 kilometers.

5. When another team tries to steal your gym.

Players can battle against other teams in order to control different gyms in their area and strengthen their team. The teams are Valor, Mystic and Instinct.

6. Driving around town looking for gyms and Pokestops.

The gyms and stops provide players a chance to engage in friendly competition and to help each other out by using lures to attract Pokemon to the area.

7. Feeling superior for picking Team Valor or Mystic.

There's a friendly rivalry between the teams due to their popularity among players. Team Valor (Red) and Team Mystic (Blue) are the two most popular with Instinct (Yellow) rounding out the trio.

8. When the game glitches right as you toss your Pokéball.

Due to the game being so new, there are bound to be glitches from time to time, resulting in some frustrating moments.

9. Seeing other players out at random times just like you are.

Walking through the mall and seeing others playing makes you feel like you automatically have something in common with another person. It makes it easier to talk to people and make new friends!

10. When it's late but there's a rare Pokémon nearby.

It can be a little scary out there in the dark, but that Magikarp down the street is totally worth it.

Today I started my third week of college at Minnesota State Moorhead. I have survived welcome week, finding my classes on the first day, and being an awkward loner in the dining hall. Even though I have yet to be here for a month, I have already experienced many thoughts and problems that only a new college student can relate to.

"Make sure to get involved when you're in college!"

We've all heard some variation of this phrase, whether it came from parents, other family members, friends, RAs, or college-related articles. And, like many clichés, it's true for the most part. Getting involved during your college years can help you make friends, build your resume, and feel connected to your campus. However, these commitments can get stressful if you're dealing with personal issues, need to work, or aren't sure how to balance classes and everything else going on during the semester.

In college, one of the essential things to have is friends. Yes, textbooks, a laptop, and other school supplies are important but friends are essential. Friends are that support system everybody needs. The more friends you have the better the support system you have. But you also have someone to share experiences with. And don’t settle for just one or two friends because 8 out of 10 times they are busy and you are studying all alone. Or they have other friend groups that do not include you. Don’t settle for just one or two friends; make as many friends as you can. After the first couple of weeks of college, most friend groups are set and you may be without friends.

For a moment your world is spinning. The phone alarm has just scared you awake and you’re flooded by daunting thoughts of the day ahead. You have three assignments due and little time to work on them because of your job. You’re running late because you’ve hit snooze one to many times after yesterday’s long hours. You dizzily reach for a hoodie, craving its comfort, and rush for a speedy exit, praying you will have time to pick up coffee. Does this sound familiar?

Finals week is upon us. It is a magical time of year during which college students everywhere flock to the library in attempt to learn a semester's worth of knowledge in only a week. For some students, it's their first time in the library all semester, maybe ever. Others have slaved away many nights under the fluorescent lights, and are slightly annoyed to find their study space being invaded by amateurs. While these newbies wander aimlessly around the first floor, hopelessly trying to find a table, the OGs of the library are already on the third floor long tables deep into their studies. Here is a few signs that you may live in the library, whether you'd like to admit it or not.
