Demons
Trouble minded
Tormented and disturbed peace
Finding self-demolished into pieces
Confused in the sea
Not knowing what direction to move
West or east
In the midst of the storm
She has forgotten she has a compass
The one that leads her way since the moment she took her first breath
In the middle of the sea, she finds herself
Drowning in the prison of her thoughts
The demons seemed to persuade her
Stealing her bit of faith of the transformation the heavens can make
Those who surround her become demons too
Along with all the voices that pull her mind left and right
Putting doubts if she was with the right soul
In chains, she cries because when she stares in those eyes
She gets warmed hearted
Although she wonders what she is doing?
Setting herself for pain
All so beautiful until the thorns rip her flesh apart
Fearful of the drowning waters
Unsaved and let to die
Is what she fears
