"Distance means so little when someone means so much."

Oh but how I lie here, longing for your touch.

I think the more you love them,

The more you feel the pain.

They always say, "Distance makes the heart grow fonder."

I can't help but think my heart is a storm and the distance is thunder.

Iv'e found someone worth all of those treacherous miles

Who even so far, reminds me that it is all worthwhile.

The distance isn't so bad when you're talking all day,

It's when you're falling asleep and beginning to pray.

Asking God for the strength that is deep down inside

There's just no denying when two hearts collide.

You may be weighed down by every mile between the two of you,

But when a feeling's this strong, there's no hiding the truth.

I'll patiently wait until I'm able to hold you tight,

Because I'd be a fool to let go of something that feels this right.

pale girl

Everyone has insecurities, that's just a fact. You didn't ask to be born this way. You didn't ask to inherit the one trait no one else in your family has. And you definitely didn't ask to be this ghostly white. But as soon as you've learned to live with it for a while (less wrinkles later on in life, right? right???) someone has to ruin it for you. They have to flaunt they're perfectly tanned body from Spring Break and hold their sun-kissed skin against yours. But I've had enough... here are the things that perpetually pale individuals are tired of hearing.

8. "The whole philanthropy thing isn't real, right?"

Well all those fundraisers and marketing should would be a waste then wouldn't they?
