You deserve someone who will cross oceans to be with you, not someone who flees at the first sign of conflict.

Please, please

tell your daughters

tell your friends

and tell yourself,

that you deserve someone who will cross oceans to be with you,

not someone who flees at the first sign of conflict.

You deserve a man who comes to your door

instead of texting you "I'm outside."

You deserve someone who calls you and asks about your day

not someone who texts you at midnight when he is bored and lonely.

Times change

and generations evolve,

but your standards shouldn't.

Never feel like you are asking too much

because that simply means you're asking for it from the wrong person.

You are not hard to love

just because you demand to be treated the way you should be.

Wait for what you deserve.

Always.

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here. Around the town, there are some just some landmarks and places that only the people of Hauppauge will ever understand the importance or even the annoyance of.
