No Face
Black as a mystery, but white as a memory. Something that many will understand the association while others look on in horror. Something called No Face, yet it clearly has a face. Is it a living creature or nothing but a stuffed toy. The softness reminds me of my childhood, but the appearance reminds me of the paralyzing fear of death that haunts my sleep every night. But what is so fear inducing of the small black, white, and purple cylinder? Is it the figure itself? The representation in the media? Or maybe it's the meaning and implications behind it? With an appearance like silkworm and an appetite for anything and everything this creature truly makes me feel spirited away.
