Inspiration for this poem: life has been pretty hectic this week, especially in the beginning and not because of typical Monday and Tuesday blues. I was faced with some challenges that we're pretty difficult to handle at first. I won't go into detail, but everyone has had these moments. Instead of sulking and moping around, I wrote. This was one poem I wrote in order to help me lift myself up, and hopefully, it encourages others to pick themselves up from a gloomy mood, too.

I think after being glued
Together
for so long

Eventually, the glue wears away,
so it can’t hold the pieces together anymore.

So you fall apart,
and you apply more glue.
