Politicians talk blah blah and tend to fix nada

Now that we got a celeb running the show, DACA is caca

Taking the juice out of the undocumented

Like squeezing milk out of a vaca

As he laughs, jaja while probably eating some carne asada

Then he tweets it ain’t that bad, no need to worry

I’m gonna take a 5-minute break, THEN kick y’all out in a hurry

It’s not like all of you are out, actually 100k less than expected

But 100k more than that is how many of y’all I personally rejected

Cause I’m the leader of the free world, so I have to be careful and selective

Make sure no one’s doing anything sneaky

But wait, you want to see my taxes

Nah you’re better off hiring a private detective

He's probably making excuses

Like your home uses Celsius and km, but our system is metric

You’re better off there

Things here are too different, more hectic

He has ruined the days of these 800k

Like everyone wanting a run at the 1

Only to see the coach call the wrong play

Or to make it more relevant

Like that time he won the election on November the 8th

It’s good to be optimistic

But currently, what good is there to say?

Now if you look at it differently

This makes deportation occur more efficiently

Cause now you’re kicking out working, rightful immigrants

With proven productivity and lawful innocence

So that lazy, ungrateful, bum-ass citizens

Have more job opps and openings; tell me, what’d be the difference?

Most in DACA are 25 and over, with 93% working

While 15% less of Americans the same age got a job

While the rest of them are drinking and twerking

Cause instead of school and interviews, they stick to being fools and flirting

I’m 25-1, but I got a job so that’s a plus

Graduated from school, now helping people go back or work by building that trust

DACA recipients have it bad, but us minorities feel like life can be a bust

If this dude’s mom saw me on the street, she’d think hugging her purse would be a must

I should support whoever the president is, but somehow I don’t

Use my position for division? Yeah, I think I won’t

We’re called the United States for Christ’s sake, shouldn’t we try to be a team?

Him, make a plan for that, sign an act? Now that sounds like a DREAM

Bet it’s more likely he blows the last administration’s ideals to smithereens with hyper beams

Then go on twitter and put up a picture of a stupid Obama meme

Now si, soy Hispanic, US born, but I ain’t trying to be biased

The proof is in the pudding though, the DACA youth is working harder than I is

They’d probably be quicker to fix that grammar error than a normal citizen without even trying

That’s supposed to be a joke but if you told me it happened, I’d assume you weren’t lying

But goddam 78 to 93?

What are the other 15% doing, updating their Snapchat and IG?

These Dreamers are inspiring more out of me

I mean I have the opps they didn’t get just by being born in NYC

That’s a fact that may be unfair

Trump doesn't give a damn, but at least Obama cared

We should all be Dreamers, wake up to make it a reality and get the fuck off our chairs

Try to use our time more wisely, maybe focus less on our clothes and the stares

Believe it or not, I tried helping someone who didn’t want to go to work because his mom didn’t do his hair

That’s real, not a joke

Sad fact I just spoke

Based on the stats, us adults should be the ones taking notes

If we were an egg, these guys would be the yolk

Cause they’re out here looking more like role model citizens than us folk

I just hope this rescinding of assisting for people trying to make a living

Becomes something that helps the Dreamers continue receiving through the efforts they’re giving

Cause I don’t see the wrong in people coming here and making us look better

Employment is a big deal and I’d rather look like a nice jacket than an ugly Christmas sweater

We should find the good from other places, like Egypt and leather

Change ain’t always a bad thing; maybe that’s why Jose’s coming to spice up this weather

At the end of the day, we should help those we can, like ourselves for example

Don’t blame your shit on other people, man

Si se puede, yes we can

You can trump over your troubles if you get off your butt and take a stand

Though most of the time you can’t change the rules and a ban remains the plan

If it ain’t an obstacle to you, you better take advantage of it, man

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

"A Christmas Story" is the star on top of the tree.

The Great Christmas Movie Debate

One staple of the Christmas season is sitting around the television watching a Christmas movie with family and friends. But of the seemingly hundreds of movies, which one is the star on the tree? Some share stories of Santa to children ("Santa Claus Is Coming to Town"), others want to spread the Christmas joy to adults ("It's a Wonderful Life"), and a select few are made to get laughs ("Elf"). All good movies, but merely ornaments on the Christmas tree of the best movies. What tops the tree is a movie that bridges the gap between these three movies, and makes it a great watch for anyone who chooses to watch it. Enter the timeless Christmas classic, "A Christmas Story." Created in 1983, this movie holds the tradition of capturing both young and old eyes for 24 straight hours on its Christmas Day marathon. It gets the most coverage out of all holiday movies, but the sheer amount of times it's on television does not make it the greatest. Why is it,
then? A Christmas Story does not try to tell the tale of a Christmas miracle or use Christmas magic to move the story. What it does do though is tell the real story of Christmas. It is relatable and brings out the unmatched excitement of children on Christmas in everyone who watches. Every one becomes a child again when they watch "A Christmas Story."

It's the most wonderful time of the year! Christmas is one of my personal favorite holidays because of the Christmas traditions my family upholds generation after generation. After talking to a few of my friends at college, I realized that a lot of them don't really have "Christmas traditions" in their family, and I want to help change that. Here's a list of Christmas traditions that my family does, and anyone can incorporate into their family as well!

It’s here; that time of year when college students turn into preschoolers again. We cry for our mothers, eat everything in sight, and whine when we don’t get our way. It’s finals, the dreaded time of the semester when we all realize we should have been paying attention in class instead of literally doing anything else but that. Everyone has to take them, and yes, unfortunately, they are inevitable. But just because they are here and inevitable does not mean they’re peaches and cream and full of rainbows. Surviving them is a must, and the following five phases are a reality for all majors from business to art, nursing to history.
