Fever,
No not the, "I got the flu," and I'm coughing-my-eyes-out-fever,
Spring Fever
It creeps into our system the day it just gets a little warmer outside,
We think the surge of winter has finally passed,
That we won't have to shovel snow from our driveways,
and wait until our cars heat up.
It distracts us from our usually work,
we daydream,
of vacation to Europe, Caribbean,
or anywhere warm
We daydream
of wearing lighter clothing,
of planting flowers and vegetables in our garden
that hasn't been touched since last year,
We got the fever,
and we have to fight through it,
because if you live where I live,
Spring can last one day in February, and then it snows or rains all week,
Fight through the Spring Fever
