Humans: we are weak.
Like a paper plane
Like a house of cards
Like,
Dominoes have no arms so they have no instinct
To reach out as they fall
Or do they?
Like a jenga game
Humans
We build a structure
That will never hold
Its foundation only as strong
As what moves it this way and that
A force to be reckoned with
We hold on for dear life
For strength
For the sake of proving
That we are not fragile
Like the package outside the closed door
That’s been there too long
Humans: not invincible,
We crack like the cup in your hand
That you’ve been washing too hard
Because you don’t want to cry
Because it hurts
Because you are fragile
And you are weak
Because you are human.
