There's not a day that goes by when I don't encounter a meme, either on Twitter or even at school. They are so integrated into our lives, and they deserve some recognition. With the knowledge of some of my favorite memes, I created a poem that captures just a few of the things they can do.
Whenever you come around
You never bring a frown
We never want you to leave
For people love when you say bone apple tea
If oovoo javer is not enough
You’ve got the cash me outside girl
Who acts really tough
You make Walmart a place for stars
For that yodeling boy will go far
Even companies like Kit Kat take your themes
And capitalize on them
The way they did with the evil kermit meme
You can’t get enough of Trump, he now doesn’t surprise
For he just denies, denies, denies
Shaping situations to be humorous
You showed us the way
Taking the United scandal
And turning it into a safety PSA
Thank you for connecting us
All the way to Ms. Keisha’s grave
