I find that reading for pleasure in college is nearly impossible. I started a book towards the end of winter break and the last page I read was the last day of spring break. The problem isn't that there's no time. The problem is that those small free moments come in increments. That is to say, when I want to read a novel, I don’t have to read a page and then come back 2 years later to pick up on that same page.
I’ve found that reading poetry during the semester is perfect. They are short (sometimes) and you can read 3 or 4 in the small increments that you have. Here’s a list of poetry books:
