In response to 10 Little Ways To Practice Mindfulness This Spring
With springtime slowly approaching, I have crafted a new poem inspired by just that.
Time for Renewal
Green grass, lavender scents...
The calmness that stirs within
Is always welcomed with a kind embrace.
Something is happening,
Opportunities pass by as
Clouds in the sky.
Examine the shapes,
See how they make
A home in the sky -
Pick one out,
Hold onto it.
Hide it away,
Talk to it.
Never let others
Tear you down.
Grasp at belief,
She is kind in her ways -
Offering a spark
In a heart that was
Once given grief.
Buttercups in their dozens
Are a cluster of hope
That is welcomed
During this time of renewal.
