A Poem to 2017

The year of 2016 has come to an end

2017 will be here soon

Before the new year finally comes, I ask myself

What shall this year come to?

Will it be filled with positivity?

Will it embrace me with an even stronger free spirit?

Will it grant me the right to find the truth in mysteries?

Or will it throw more struggles my way?

Or will it deny me with any right to a simpler style of life?

Or will it bring more negatives?

2017 is a different year, a year of change

Negatives and positives may come my way in any approach

But, no matter what, I will come closer to the true person I am meant to be
