If you're reading this,
I want you to know
that my heart goes out to you.
You probably feel like
you're drowning in the ocean.
Your head is held high gasping for air.
I've been there too,
and some nights I'm still there.
But you've been through this before.
You are a survivor
You are a warrior
You can only go up from here.
Nothing lasts forever,
this will pass.
Even though it doesn't feel like it,
everything is okay.
You are loved and admired.
Your presence is wanted and needed.
They light up when they see you.
But sometimes we forget,
an anxious mind does that.
Please know that you're not alone.
What you're feeling
is completely normal and valid.
Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
Because they are wrong.
The only thing I ask
is to keep yourself grounded.
It will help the drowning feeling.
Find one thing in the room to focus on,
and something small to hold.
It's a friendly reminder
that you deserve
to see the light,
and to feel the world around you.
To live and experience,
not just existing.
If you're reading this,
everything is okay.
This storm will pass,
and once again you will thrive.
You're doing your best,
and the rest will fall into place.
The feeling of being lost
is only temporary.
