Oh, I love you so,
And spend so much time with you
Yet I never talk about you
I just take advantage.
So here you go, my dear sweet poetry,
Your very own poem
All about you:
You are the way to show two faces
Both true, but one hidden below,
The heartbreak inside
Or Joy overfilling the brim
underneath the scene,
the words.
You may portray order or organized chaos,
No rules or restrictions must apply to you
You are what you are
No apologizing.
Still, you give each reader
A chunk of wisdom
Or perhaps folly
But either or,
We walk away
With something to hold
Something to know
Something to share
Something to love.
