If I were a fruit I would be a strawberry.

A Poem-"Average Strawberry"

Not very big

Not very small

Fairly average I’d say

But good overall

I don’t like to be rushed

Into hasty decisions

One must be careful

And use close precision

When picking me out

Among the rest

Just being patient

I think would be best

~

Bitter or sweet

It’s all up to you

I prefer the latter

I think most do

We’re a lot alike

You know it’s true

Cut me open

I bleed red too

~

Mix me with sugar

And I’ll be like an angel

Food cake that is

You get my angle?

Or maybe some chocolate

Cause that’s what I like

It brings out my good side

My friends know I’m right

~

I’m a pretty good fruit

Though my taste may vary

Don’t eat me in one bite

I’m just an average Strawberry

Ah, yes, good old Hauppauge. We are that town in the dead center of Long Island that barely anyone knows how to pronounce unless they're from the town itself or live in a nearby area. Hauppauge is home to people of all kinds. We always have new families joining the community but honestly, the majority of the town is filled with people who never leave (high school alumni) and elders who have raised their kids here.
