I sat on the bench under the shadow of the full
Evergreen tree.
As the breeze brushed my face
I had but a curious case, of allure, for this particular
Shade of green.
The grass and the trees all the same shade of green,
Naturally pleasant and charming.
How we ignore its simplicity, is but a mystery,
In fact it’s quite disheartening.
If we only sat back on a quaint little bench,
Every once in a while.
Then maybe, just maybe, Earth's precious entities
Could help us to crack a smile.
